Maria Adams joined the WVC Athletics staff in May of 2020 as Assistant Head Coach. December of 2021 she took over the program as Head Coach. She is going into her second year as Head Coach this coming 23-24 season.
Maria has been a coach for over 10 years. She has traveled internationally with Volleyball Teams to compete in different areas of the world. She played her first two years of college volleyball at Wenatchee Valley College. After that, she decided to get married and focus on her teaching certifcation through Central Washington University and coach on the side. After graduating with a Bachelors in Elementary Education, with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language, she decided to come back to Wenatchee Valley College and coach.
Maria is passionate about Positive Team Culture and Mental Health on and off the court. She strives for all of her athletes to leave the program with a stronger heart than when they arrive to her program.
