WVC Athletics Hall of Fame Criteria for Nomination
*All nominations received by August 1st of the current year will be considered for induction the following year at the WVC Athletics Hall of Fame Induction and Follow Your Dreams Scholarship Auction, held annually in January. Individual Athlete, or Contributor
1) Outstanding former WVC student-athlete, coach, or contributor who made a distinguished contribution to his/her particular sport or team, or the athletic department.
2) Five years must have passed since their last year of official WVC involvement in the sport for which the individual is being nominated for Hall of Fame Status.
3) Exemplary individual achievement, in any field, beyond their tenure at WVC also merits consideration for nomination.
Coach/Staff
1) Distinguished contribution to his/her particular sport or team, or the WVC athletic department in general.
2) Three years must have passed since their last year of official WVC involvement in the sport for which the individual is being nominated for Hall of Fame Status, barring special circumstances.
3) Exemplary individual achievement, in any field, beyond their tenure at WVC also merits consideration for nomination.
Team
1) Distinguished performance and representation of WVC athletics, inlcuding having played for or won an NWAC Championship.
2) Five years must have passed since the year in which the team is being nominated for Hall of Fame Status.
Community Booster
1) Must have demonstrated signifcant distinguished contribution to WVC athletics.
