Newman pitched in two games for the Knights, earning a win in her second game in which she pitched five innings in a 14-1 victory. In the game she allowed one unearned run, with two hits, four strikeouts and two walks. In her first appearance she entered the game in relief, pitching 2.2 perfect innings.
