Tacoma, WA-With a difficult loss on Saturday safely in the rearview mirror, the Knights women's hoopsters were eager to get back on the floor and into the win column, ideally to erase the third quarter doldrums from their memory.
The third quarter in today's matchup with Tacoma turned out to be the difference as the Knights pulled away and never looked back en route to a 58-50 win over the host Titans.
Chasity Spady led the way with 19 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the field and a perfect 4-4 from the line in 39 minutes. Ashley Peralta chipped in 10 points and 4 boards, while Kiara Steen doled out 9 assists to keep the Titans at bay.
The Knights will finish out the NWAC Crossover tomorrow at 12pm when they face South Region powerhouse Umpqua in a rematch of the NWAC Championship in 2019.
