Knights push winning streak to three with eyes on NIC headed into town Wednesday

Pendleton, OR- With back-to-back road games and a looming contest against North Idaho College coming up on Wednesday, it was conceiveable that the Knights might overlook Saturday's contest with the Timberwolves.  However, coach Jeremy Harden had his men prepared, as they rolled out another balanced attack en route to a 15-point win against Blue Mountain.

Malik Parsons, who recently became the all-time leading scorer in the history of WVC men's basketball, led the way for the Knights with 16 points and 10 boards, and four others scored in double figures as the Knights left the flood-challenged area of Pendleton with a win.

The Timberwolves, who have had a tough campaign this season, stayed close throughout and had some exceptional individual performances, as Wes Persinger poured in 22 in 38 minutes for BMCC.  It wasn't enough though, and the Timberwolves fell to 1-10 in the conference standings.

The Knights return to Smith Gymnasium for a battle with east-leading NIC on Wednesday at 7:30pm.
