Men take down Lane, head into the holiday break 12-1

Centralia, WA- Heading into the holiday break, the WVC men's basketball team looked to close out the NWAC Crossover with a solid performance against a formidable Lane Community College team; a solid performance is exactly what they found.

Malik Parsons led the way with 30 points for the Knights, who also got the seemingly plug-and-play double-double from Abdul Abdullah (15 pts./10 reb.) whose strong performance in the paint has given WVC much-needed strength down low this season.  Austin Hatch chipped in 16 off the bench for the Knights.

Rodney Hounshell and Tashon Brown provided all the firepower for the Lane Titans, scoring 23 and 20 respectively.

The Knights move into the break boasting a 12-1 record, and are off until after the new year when they return to host Columbia Basin in their first foray into the conference schedule.
